Dan McMahon

Lifelong Chicago Bears fan with a house and three cats. Originally, I grew up in McDowell County and got my first radio gig in 2001. I won Radio Student of the Year at Concord in 2004. My first stint at J104 had begun in 2006 and ran through 2009. Furthermore, I returned after a four year hiatus in 2013.

I was the grateful recipient of the Best Radio Sportscast Award, as presented by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, & 2021. Additionally, I won the same award in the State of Virginia in 2020. Furthermore, the Virginia Broadcasters’ Association presented me with Radio Personality of the year in 2021.
